Description:

The Disc Centrifuge Machine is a vertical centrifuge with a drum mounted on the top of the vertical axis, driven by a motor for high-speed rotation. The drum contains a set of disc-shaped parts with small gaps between them. Suspensions or emulsions are fed into the drum through a central feed tube. As the suspension flows through the gaps between the discs, solid particles or droplets settle to form sediment or liquid layers. The separated solids accumulate in the drum for manual removal, while the separated liquid is discharged through an outlet.
