The filter plate is pressed by the pressing system, and then the suspension is pumped into the filter chamber where solid particles and liquid are separated through a filter cloth. This automatic filter press is simple in structure, provides good separation effects, and is convenient to use. It finds wide applications in industries such as:

Operation process includes the following:

1. The hydraulic unit drives the head plate to press the middle plates and filter cloth between the head plate and tail plate, forming chambers between every two plates.
2. The pump delivers the mud into the chambers, where solids are retained to form cakes, and liquid flows out until the cakes are full.
3. After about 10 minutes of pressure holding and no liquid flow, the squeezing process finishes.
4. A worker manually discharges the cake.
