1. The hydraulic unit drives the head plate to press the middle plates and filter cloth between the head plate and tail plate, forming chambers between every two plates.
2. The pump delivers the mud into the chambers, where solids are retained to form cakes while liquid flows out. The pump stops when the cakes are full.
3. After about 10 minutes of pressure holding, the squeezing process is complete when no liquid flow is observed.
4. The plate shifter device assists in pulling the plates one by one, automatically discharging the cake.
