1. The hydraulic unit drives the head plate to press the middle plates and filter cloth between, forming chambers between every two plates.
2. The pump delivers the mud into the chambers, allowing solids to be retained in the chamber as cake while liquid flows out until the cakes are full.
3. Pressure holding for approximately 10 minutes ensures thorough squeezing, indicated by the absence of liquid flow.
