GF Series Tubular Centrifuge

The GF series tubular centrifuge by Zhengzhou Toper Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. is designed for separating emulsions and mixing various liquid-liquid-solid phases with minimal impurities. It achieves optimal separation results when impurities or solid phases in the liquid are below 1%. Clarification is recommended if the percentage exceeds 1%.

During operation, the mixed slurry is sprayed into the bowl from the bottom inlet. The centrifugal force causes the liquids to separate based on gravity, with heavy liquid forming the outer ring and light liquid the inner ring. The separated liquids are discharged from their respective outlets, while particles settle on the bowl's wall for manual removal after the machine stops.

Two main methods are used to extract essential oils, both involving the use of the tubular centrifuge for liquid-liquid separation:

1. Steam Distillation: This common extraction method involves heating aromatic plant material with steam in a distiller. The essential oil evaporates with the vapor, which is then cooled and separated based on specific gravity. Most essential oils are extracted through this process.
2. Freezing Compression Method: Specifically used for extracting essential oils from citrus fruit peels, this method involves adding water during crushing, collecting the juice, and separating the essential oil using a refrigerating centrifuge.
