The DHC self-discharging disc separator from Zhengzhou Toper Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. is designed to efficiently perform liquid-solid and liquid-liquid separation operations. The clarifying operation separates low concentration slurries, while the separation operation deals with emulsions.
This vertical centrifuge features a drum mounted on the top of the vertical axis, driven by a motor for high-speed rotation. The drum contains a series of nested disc-shaped parts with small gaps between them. Suspensions or emulsions are introduced into the drum through a central feed tube.
As the suspension or emulsion flows through the disc gaps, solid particles or droplets settle on the discs to form a sediment or liquid layer. The sediment slides along the disc surface, accumulating in the drum's largest diameter portion, while the separated liquid is discharged through an outlet.
