The membrane squeezing filter press is designed with membrane plates and filter chambers made of ordered filter plates. It effectively separates solid and liquid in slurry materials, reducing moisture content by fully squeezing the solid. This machine is ideal for filtering sticky materials and achieving desired moisture content ratios.
The membrane plates function similarly to recessed chamber plates but feature flexible drainage surfaces. After filtration, air pressure is exerted behind the flexible drainage, inflating the membrane to apply pressure on the filter cake. This process results in reduced moisture content before cake discharge.
