Membrane Filter Press

The membrane filter press consists of membrane plates and filter chambers made of ordered filter plates. It effectively separates solid and liquid in slurry material, especially suitable for sticky materials and controlling moisture content.

Membrane plates are constructed similarly to recessed chamber plates but with flexible drainage surfaces. By applying air pressure behind the flexible drainage, the membrane inflates to exert pressure on the filter cake, reducing moisture content before discharge.

This Membrane Filter Press can be stopped at the most efficient point in its cycle, achieving final solids content in a significantly reduced cycle time.
