It operates continuously at full speed, making it ideal for solid-and-liquid separation, size classification, and liquid clarification in suspensions ranging from 0.0005 to 2mm with concentrations of 2-40%. This centrifuge is particularly effective for materials that are challenging to filter cloth recycling and have a wide size range and high concentration.
The horizontal screw centrifuge consists of a drum, spiral, differential, bearing seat, feeding tube, machine base, cover, main motor, auxiliary motor, electrical control system, and monitoring instruments. As the material enters the drum cavity, it experiences strong centrifugal force due to the high-speed rotation of the drum. The differential rotation speed between the screw and drum causes the spiral to push solid particles towards the outlet end for discharge, while the liquid forms a ring layer inside the solid layer. The differential ensures the necessary speed difference between the drum and screw for effective separation.
