The Disc Separator from Zhengzhou Toper Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd. is a high-efficiency, large-output, and advanced automation equipment essential for industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, biological products, and beverages. It is designed for separating immiscible liquids with a small difference in proportion in low-solids suspensions. The principle behind its operation is based on centrifugal force, enabling efficient separation.
The DHC Self-Discharging Disc Separator is a self-cleaning separator controlled by an inverter, PLC, and a set of electrical components. It can perform liquid-solid separation (clarifying operation) and liquid-liquid separation (or liquid-liquid-solid separation) with ease.
This vertical centrifuge features a drum mounted on the top of a vertical axis, driven by a motor for high-speed rotation. The drum contains a set of nested disc-shaped parts with small gaps between them. Suspensions or emulsions are fed into the drum through a central feed tube. As the suspension flows through the gaps between the discs, solid particles or droplets settle to form sediment, which is then discharged out of the drum. The disc design enhances the settling area, increasing production capacity.
